A few years ago we got a 6v John Deere tractor and GMC Denali from Walmart for our kids. The batteries eventually stopped holding a charge and only 6V made up for the slightest hillock. I used this adapter to connect my 5Ah 20V Dewalt battery to the toys. I also bought a RioRand 7-70V PWM DC 30A DC motor speed controller so I can adjust the speed and a built in fuse just in case. The adapter works great. With a 20V battery, the power is much greater. If you turn it all the way out, the tires will spin a little at launch. I was able to use the wire connector that came with the old battery so I could quickly swap this adapter between cars. Do not leave the battery connected to the car overnight. I had a couple of Dewalt batteries that were completely dead so they wouldn't charge after being in the car.
