Perfect for retrofitting Power Wheels

Works great with my Dewalt 20v Max drill battery. I didn't use a voltage regulator, instead I just upgraded the battery in my baby power bikes to my drill battery and the speed of the car changed dramatically. 100% worth! Make sure you have a 30A line fuse!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Damaged

High Performance Wheels!

It was very easy to connect the wiring to my kids bikes. Once plugged in, I plugged in the Dewalt battery and the difference was immediately noticeable! Powerful wheels have evolved from gliding around the yard to riding on them! My kids love it and so do I because now I don't have to tape them off every few minutes!

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great for everything but toys 12V Ride On Toys

Turns out you really shouldn't connect a Dewalt 20V battery directly to a 12V Ride On Toy for kids, aka Power Wheels. 1) You will burn the battery as there is no over-discharge protection for the battery and 2) You will burn the motor of driving within 1 day. But, MAN, these toys run FAST on 20 volts.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Some Problems

Dewalt 20V Adapter for Power Wheels

Dewalt 20V Adapter for Power Wheels. The fit and finish are great. The battery is inserted and removed normally. Doesn't freeze. No pruning required. I connected the wires and put the battery in. The Power Wheels car started immediately. I just installed it so this review doesn't cover durability or longevity. It only has two countersunk screw holes that need to be drilled. I wish there were 4 but it's not that big of a deal. I am very happy with it.

  • Impressive

Powerful Supercharged Wheels

Ordered one to test on one of my kid's power wheels. I already have DeWalt 20v batteries. It was a quick and easy install and well worth it. No more waiting hours for the Power Wheel batteries to charge. The 2.5 mph initial setting is a bit faster than the fastest initial setting and the original 5 mph setting is probably closer to 10 mph now. The kids love it so I ordered 2 more of these for our other Power Wheels. I'll probably use them for other things too. I like this idea.

Pros
  • Sturdy Finish
Cons
  • Nuances Received

Great for upgrading from Power Wheels

A few years ago we got a 6v John Deere tractor and GMC Denali from Walmart for our kids. The batteries eventually stopped holding a charge and only 6V made up for the slightest hillock. I used this adapter to connect my 5Ah 20V Dewalt battery to the toys. I also bought a RioRand 7-70V PWM DC 30A DC motor speed controller so I can adjust the speed and a built in fuse just in case. The adapter works great. With a 20V battery, the power is much greater. If you turn it all the way out, the tires…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Hard to say

This is the best idea

I was thinking of making my own adapter when I found this one. That's cool. Now all my Dewalt 20v batteries are potential power sources. I used this to power some LED bulbs that I installed outside so I can position the light. b4 I actually connected them. I will be using it to power the LED bar on my motorcycle because I don't want to drain my main battery. The 6AH battery lasts 3 hours. The wire used for this should be around 12 gauge, so don't worry about that. I saw a video of a man…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
