Review on Aprilaire 501 Replacment Electronic Purifier Appliances by Alex Marshall

Admittedly I bought this to use as an extra layer of protection in my face masks during this Covid outbreak. I read all the bad reviews but figured I wouldn't mind as I was going to cut the filters anyway. On the way to the doctor's office this morning I picked up the box and opened it. All layers will blister and the material will tear easily. For comparison, I have a piece of a MERV 13 rated True Blue filter that a friend bought. This material is tightly woven and you can imagine that it can actually filter fine particles from the air. I just think that's a costly mistake, but bear in mind that I can't imagine this material being able to filter out allergens for people who actually use it in their homes.
