The reel seems to be pretty sturdy and well made. The hose has to be manually wound but it doesn't take long to wind it. The hose my husband had before wasn't on a reel and it always ends up being just a mess that are easy to trip on.The hose itself is an okay quality not high quality but also not the cheapest hose that will imediately get a hole in it after the first use. Unfortunately it doesn't come with any tips so you'll need to provide those yourself. They are 1/4 threaded male ends so you might also need an adapter.It does come with a manual on how to set-up and use it which is written moderately well but seems largely unnecessary since I think it's pretty intuitive what you do with it.
