Spend a little more and try a different brand.

I think you get what you pay for. The inlet "boot" is nothing more than a piece of rubber. The clamps provided are not small enough to tighten it on the inlet. I used an existing clamp from an old intake. The instructions look like they were copied from a copy that was a copy of another copy. Pictures are useless because you can't see what's going on through the grainy copy. It took 45 minutes of work to discover that the bracket holding the intake manifold was too big. I had to bend it after scratching the pipe trying to tighten the clamp. (Here's a new look for you.) After getting this far, I decided to at least give it a try. I recommend visiting the manufacturer's website for instructions. However, that doesn't help with the lack of effort in designing the inlet adapter. I noticed a very small increase in acceleration, if any. 14hp certainly not. Let's see what happens with the fuel consumption. I will update the rating when something wonderful happens and this thing starts to pay off.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Volume
