Review on 🔧 AMP Research Quick Latch Bracket Kit 74605-01A for All Models 1984-2021, Black by Len Cooper

These parts replace the parts that come with the bed extension. They have a lever that releases the bed extension and not the usual jack where you tilt the bed extension and insert it into the bracket. With a conventional open truck bed, you can easily fold the body extension from one side to the other. On some covers, like mine, this is not possible as the rail part for my BAK X4 revolver wheeled case has a rail that gets in the way. I have this part and another part that raises this part or the standard part that comes with a bed extension so it can clear some pathways and also doesn't require drilling. The instructions are a bit inadequate, but if you look at them long enough you should be able to install them. So understand that they can replace the pieces that come with the bed extender, but there is another piece that they fit on that allows you to lengthen them a bit and take them off quickly. I didn't find it that quick, but you can put some lube on the part that snaps into this part and it might come out a little easier. The other part they can be attached to if you need clearance on the sides of the truck body, usually due to the body cover, does not require drilling and you should look for my review on how to use this part. I gave these 4 stars for the difficulty of removing the bed extension from them.
