Package arrived in a sturdy box. I'm only saying this because it's entirely possible for Revain to ship a one-off order with no additional packaging, so strong packaging is good if you want to keep it safe and sound. Sealed vacuum packaging and vacuum bag resealable (ziplock). A nice clear spool which is graduated so you can not only see how much you have left but is also marked in 10% increments. The thread is also wound up neatly. It's nice that they added an extra .4 attachment so you can start over if you want. Prints very well out of the box, as easy as PLA and has more strength and a higher glass transition point than PLA. I am currently using some of these with no post processing in my heated dry box to replace rollers. It withstands heat better than PETG! Nice dark black so they used a good amount of pigment. Prints well at 200 with a bed temp of 60 degrees on my Ender 3 V2 glass bed with masking tape applied. No tension issues at all. Approximately 5 meters randomly tested for size and everything was within spec. After processing (smoothing) as I don't have a vapor chamber I sculpted something with decent results. Be careful, you are heating a flammable liquid and vaporizing it... BE CAREFUL and take proper precautions as I am not responsible for the result. I used a 1000ml Pyrex jar, resized Thingiverse's Polysmoother platform and made some handles out of extra large paperclips. Fill the bottom of the beaker with isopropyl alcohol just below the horizontal bottom of the platform. The higher the purity, the better. I used 99.9%. I covered it with cling film and placed it on a heated printer ball at 85C. After some experimentation, from 1:45 to 2:00 hours depending on the model, the best results were achieved without too much loss of detail. I will say that this thread is best for low to medium detail models. Superfine details are lost when smoothing. All in all, I think it worked very well and I am satisfied with the results. Needless to say, overall I am very impressed with this thread and every Yousu thread I have tried so far. Their TPU and PETG are among the best. For those wondering, this thread is basically the same as Pollysmooth but represents a much better value. More thread for less money with the same result. All you have to do is open the box and you will immediately see that this is a company that strives to stand out from its competitors.
