I rarely leave reviews unless I want to warn other consumers about a poor quality product. but I have decided to give a great review for this product because I firmly believe that it is worth sharing my opinion about it. These are excellent knives. They are very sharp and will easily cut through anything you hold in front of them. They're very strong (and yes, heavy, which isn't necessarily a bad thing), which helps cut food cleanly. Weight provides stability and balance. I've used them on tomatoes (many people know they're not easy to cut with unserrated knives) and I can slice them with the utmost ease. The steak also cuts beautifully without tearing the meat to shreds. I saw no problem putting them in the dishwasher, they were clean and shiny every time. I recommend these knives to anyone who wants a great everyday steak knife!
