Intercooler pump replaced with MB CL600. To avoid draining the intercooler fluid (because it's a lot of work removing bubbles when draining and refilling), I used two of these clamps to (hopefully) clamp the 3/4" rubber inlet and seal outlet hoses. Pump. But when I loosened the clamps on the pump and removed the hoses, quite a bit of water ran out of both hoses. I've tightened the yokes as tight as I can, but as someone else said because they are ratchet they will always "back off" a little to the next previous ratchet position. I enlisted my wife's assistance to further fill the intercooler circuit. above because I removed and replaced the pump as soon as possible (when fully saturated with liquid) so that I don't have to do the MB intercooler liquid siphoning procedure later. I have to say that I was very disappointed with the performance of these wringers. :-(
