Review on Pentek 158110 Clear Filter Housing by Edward Perez

Disappointing on this unit. After seeing such great reviews I bought one of these units to serve as an under sink filter. Although the leakage was slow, a small amount of water leaked out between the blue screw at the top and the transparent case. No additional tightening solved the problem. Most likely this was due to a bad o-ring or poorly made threads between the top and bottom; so i ordered a replacement. The replacement worked fine for about 30 minutes before slowly leaking water in the same spot. So I sent the block back and tried a different filter housing.
