I think any filter that fits the fittings will do. I believe the future belongs to the fuel filter with built in shut off. This item fits very well as expected. It's very easy to install and I like that the filter line is clearly visible from the side while I'm working, but that's probably due to the B&S engineering of the 21hp engine. by craftman yt3000 tractor. This is a gravity feed. It works well.
