My first impression was that the threads on the connector were not quite right and a little sloppy compared to the original antennas which I had previously removed and reinstalled. At first I thought it was the size/length of the antenna making it difficult to balance to screw it in straight but I'm not sure but I think extra care is needed to ensure that they don't cross over. a thread. Then I noticed that unless the antenna is set almost perfectly vertical, its own weight is enough to fall off (the hardness of the hinge is not strong enough to rotate the antenna). Finally, and most importantly, they showed very little, if any, improvement over the standard 4" antennas when installed on both my router and computer (only about 1-2dBm RSSI). I was expecting a 4-5dBm improvement based on its specs.
