Review on Elevate Your Comfort with the Microsoft πŸ’» Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop Keyboard and Mouse L5V-00001 by Firash Hakimi

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Performs its functions, nothing unusual.

Because I have spent a significant amount of time with its predecessor (the Natural Keyboard 4000), I will evaluate both products using that instrument. The production and assembly of the keyboard are of a higher quality now than they were before. As was the case with the 4000th, the keys practically do not hang out at all. Both the travel distance and the level of resistance of the keys are satisfactory. In general, the keyboard has gotten more durable (when you hold one in your hands, you have the sense that it will last longer), but this improvement is not without its negatives. The top function keys are built differently from the main keys, and their operations are also somewhat separate from one another. It seems like there was a click when the button is pressed, but the key does not function just yet. You need to put some pressure on her. It makes a poor impression overall. The characters 2022 that are printed on the keys are difficult to read since they are painted with a blue paint that is not as vibrant as the paint used for the inscriptions on the function keys. On the Natural 4000, the block of keys that contained Home, End, PgUp, and other frequently used functions was laid out in a more user-friendly manner. Because the Home and End keys are situated too far away from the arrow keys, you constantly find yourself having to reach for them and making clumsy movements as a result. It would be much more convenient if the Home and End keys were switched with the Page Up and Page Down keys. Because it is located directly above the up arrow key, the Insert key is frequently pressed inadvertently. This cluster of keys constitutes the primary issue with the keyboard. It is not even remotely conceivable to become accustomed to such a configuration. I have high hopes that future iterations of the keyboard will once again keep these keys structurally distinct from the rest of the keys on the board. It is not entirely obvious why the manufacturer writes the word "Enter" on the button that is labeled "Enter," whereas the inscriptions on other buttons (Shift, Alt, etc.) are not translated into 2022. The mouse is provided, but just for novice users. As a result of the surface of the mouse being made of slick plastic, the hand has a tendency to slide off of it, which demands more careful positioning than the mouse really merits. Place the mouse in its packaging again. It is difficult to purchase a keyboard without also receiving a mouse in the load, unfortunately. In overall, the first impressions are favorable; however, the keyboard does not pull at all and does not score a perfect 100%, much like the Natural 4000 did in its day. | After using it for a month, I tried to work on the old 4000th, but I couldn't stand the way its keys moved at all. The keys are too close together, and their range of motion is extremely broad.

Pros
  • Magnets are used to secure the ergonomically designed keyboard stand and battery covers. Keys in the form of comfortable islands
Cons
  • * Mouse: the surface is too slick, and there is no sure hold. There are not many function buttons, and there is no ability to change the assignments of those that are present. * Caviatura: The function keys behave in an inconsistent manner. When you are editing text, the fact that the keys Home, End, and PgUp, among others, are crammed together for the sake of beauty and size creates an annoyance for you. Because using the function key switch (Fn) is cumbersome, a separate Fn key is required in addition to the existing one. The characters on the keys are very dim and difficult to make out. 2022 At first, the keyboard gives off a smell that is not overpowering but is not particularly pleasant. It smells like burnt rubber and glue.
