I used this for the first time the other day and it didn't click. That upset me greatly. I took it apart to see what was going on, it turned out that inside was a ball on a conical spring that crept out of its seat (it's he who makes a click when you press it); I put it back in place, put it back together, used a click, then the ball fell out again. The ball couldn't leave its position. I am very disappointed in this product as it is ridiculous that I had to have it repaired immediately. Once fixed, it works, but Gates absolutely needs to improve the design to fix the problem for it to be worth your money.
