They don't last long.
We bought this product for our reptiles to try something different than what we normally use. We used one on our turtle and after 2 weeks it had already burned out. We thought it might just be a bad lightbulb, but then it happened again to one of our bearded dragons. You would think a reptile specific bulb would last longer, but I don't think so. However, I will say that they work well in a short time.
