This is an update I've wanted to do for a long time and I'm glad I did.
I have a 535i and the parking brake latch came off and looked awful. I tried to paint it and it immediately peeled back. Remember this is not a replacement for your latch. It's actually a shell that fits over your old bar. It looks and works perfectly. You would never be able to tell. The light shines through and looks 100 times better than the factory shutter. Highly recommended.
