I had an infamous leak from a cheap Ford quick coupler under the expansion tank. I noticed this 2 days before my planned 250 mile trip across the desert to Las Vegas. I ordered this product and received it the day before my trip. Installation was easy. I dipped the large end of the hose in the water and it began to expand around the tank opening. I removed the tank for easier installation. It took a lot of effort to get it flush to the bottom of the tank and I used a heat gun a couple of times to try and soften it up. After about 20 minutes of turning and pushing, I got to the tank. I made sure the top clip was right over most of the tank nipple and secured everything before reinstalling the tank. I had to cut off most of the silicone tubing more at the top as I have a slight kink at the bend. It's ok as the silicone doesn't leak/crack like rubber. I then cut off the bottom of the hose and attached it with the hose barb provided. No leaks after a trip to Las Vegas. Happy.
