The suction power is impressive and the quality much better than expected! I've used many of the same suction cups and none of them worked half as well as these. For my softshell turtle, however, this is just another failed attempt to sunbathe on the platform. She and our spotted pike looked at the platform in a little puzzlement, as if they couldn't see it as it was clear. I bet for other turtles this platform would be perfect. If you have a soft shell then you know how sensitive and neurotic they are. Your lack of interest most likely has nothing to do with the platform itself. *update - the turtle seems to sneak onto the platform when we're not home and jump off as soon as we enter.
