For cutting a 1.6mm thick piece of aluminium. Without lubrication, at about 12000 rpm, one broke after about 5-10 minutes. With cutting fluid (Tapmatic Natural because it's not hazardous waste) the first cut took about an hour (at 275mm/min, depth of cut 0.35mm). The second finished the project as champion. These are really great little cutters.
