Reverse Light didn't work. I checked everything but found that it was this switch. The light didn't work after the gearbox was replaced. When I removed the old switch, I compared the old to the new and noticed that one of the pins on the old switch was missing. That was the problem. Advice only. follow the instructions. and prepare to go to the trouble of removing the electrical connectors from the old derailleur, as GM used some sort of glue to hold them in place. Not impossible, but go slow when attempting to remove them. Installing this switch was easy.
