Much better than that factory junk plastic case, its cast aluminum looks like what it's attached to so it expands when heated rather than the plastic that goes with it tends to get hot. up and stuck. It fits perfectly on my 2019 Tacoma v6.

I returned it before I even used it. I thought I ordered a genuine Toyota part, but it wasn't. In fact the equivalent Toyota part is 1.3 stars cheaper than this Chinese made one to be honest as I haven't used it (would be 2.5 stars if possible).

The dealer overtightened the stock housing on our 2018 RAV4 and it cracked during an oil change because they chose plastic for the housing. Was replaced with this one and it fits perfectly. No leaks and will hold the tool better next time to remove or tighten.

I purchased this item to replace the OEM plastic filter housing on my Toyota FJ. Excellent fit and good thread quality. Fits great and serves its purpose. I also bought a separate key for the filter housing. The combination makes a great system and I would definitely recommend it.

Bought this for a 2015 Rav 4, seems cheaper and less durable due to the material it's made of compared to the OEM one part I replaced. And for some reason there are two flat parts on the thread and you have to use quite a bit of torque to get it in or it won't turn. But it fit like the original part.

This oil filter housing replaces the original plastic housing that was available from the factory. The plastic tabs on the original were torn and one had broken off completely. I don't know why Toyota decided to use plastic on my 15 Toyota 4Runner, but it was a bad idea. I also have a 14 Toyota Avalon and it has a metal oil filter housing instead of a plastic one.

This is a reserve in case my original breaks. I like that the part is made of metal. The finish was good except for the top two threads with two tiny broken threads. I sanded and smoothed the surface to avoid scratches. I would give five stars if the item was handled with care before packing. I also like the drain cap and the included o-rings. I compare with the original plastic part. They are exactly the same on my two year old Sienna.
