Description of 215/50 R17 Hankook Winter i*Pike RS2 W429 95T

The price is valid when buying 4 pcs. The Hankook iPike RS2 winter tire, like the model of the now previous generation, is designed for passenger cars. It is characterized by improved traction on slippery surfaces, braking efficiency and reliability in difficult road conditions. Newly developed tread patternThe key difference between this tire and the first generation iPike RS is the tread pattern. Its design remained symmetrical and directional, but the shape, size and arrangement of the elements changed significantly. The central part contains larger intersecting blocks. This noticeably optimizes the distribution of the external load across the contact patch in this area, thereby providing better grip stability. In the shoulder areas, the blocks, on the contrary, noticeably decreased in size, and their number increased due to this. This solution improves the performance of the tread during longitudinal accelerations, and also makes it easier to get out of a rut covered with snow. Several types of sipes Like its predecessor, the tread of this tire contains several thousand so-called “3D lamellas” of narrow slots with 3-axis facets on the vertical walls. But at the same time, the shape and layout of these elements have been significantly changed. The lamellas in the central part are directed at a sharper angle relative to the movement. This significantly improves directional stability on slippery surfaces. A significant part of the slots has a classic straight shape for such elements. Such lamellae are located in the central part at a slight angle. This solution improves longitudinal grip on wet surfaces by not only creating high and long edges, but also directing water into one of the nearby drainage grooves. Optimized stud pattern The next major innovation is the stud pattern. The number of longitudinal rows formed by them is not 10, as before, but 12. The spikes are located closer to the center of the tread, i.e., they are distributed more evenly over its entire area. This solution significantly improves the stability of grip on icy surfaces. Improved tread pattern The tread pattern of the tire contains a large number of tread grooves. A significant part of them is located at an acute angle, which makes it possible to use the rotation of the wheel to drain water and its mixture with snow. In the shoulder areas at the intersection with the transverse grooves, the tread has the ability to compact and retain snow, further enhancing grip. The main features of the Hankook W429 i Pike RS2: optimized tread pattern with massive blocks in the central part, increasing the stability of grip properties;

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

Make it a point to roll the spikes in grandfather mode for 400 to 500 kilometers. Over the course of three winters, twelve spikes fell off of four wheels. The majority of the roadways are made entirely of asphalt. Excellent tires all around.

Pros
  • Loose snow 4' x 5' 5 out of 5 Ice Snow porridge ⅘ Asphalt that is wet 5/5 Asphalt in its dry state 5/5 Noise 4/5 Easily frees itself from practically any snowdrift.
Cons
  • When the temperature is above +5, it floats.

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

The rubber appeared to have been used outside, as if it had been trampled on. In gray-yellow dust that is 21 years old and 27 weeks old, the typical rubber includes a sticker with a marking; however, this copy does not have one.

Pros
  • Once upon a time, there was a cost!
Cons
  • Increased to 16,000 dollars for a period of six months!

Best price for this product, will buy more!

Everything is like in the tests. Rows, does not close, pulls out of any snowdrift, on the track you add gas and enter any turn. The main thing is that electronic assistants do not interfere. On asphalt, things are much worse.

From my own first-hand experience, I can say that both the price and the quality of this rubber more than meet my expectations. When the previous winter's conditions are considered, the vehicle is not very noisy and typically maintains its position on the road.

Pros
  • This brand's rubber has already been put to the test by the passage of time; in principle, the native is still alive, and 90–95% of the spikes are still in place. I've had my native rubber for 7 years, and the tread just isn't the same anymore. That's why I made the decision to switch. The production date on new tires marks the beginning of the 21-year period for the tire.

Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

It's possible that the fact that my wheels were manufactured in Korea is the reason why everything is going so swimmingly with her. Buying is something I highly encourage doing. But is it still for sale in the year 2022? I am curious as to what the cost would be. They are in a position to increase the price given the product's quality.

Pros
  • I absolutely adore these tires in every way. It's hard to think that during the course of four seasons, not a single spike was released. Maintains its grip impeccably; on all coatings, a single holder is plenty, and then some. It always went out, and there was no need to push it because it rowed so efficiently in the icy porridge. Plus, it's really quiet. I was not anticipating such a high standard at such a low cost.
Cons
  • Didn't recall any deficiencies in the plan.

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

If I drive safely and make sure to maintain them properly, my high-quality tires will last me for at least three more seasons. In size r16 215/65 It cost me 6850r for each piece back in November of 2022. Manufacturing in Korea I believe that this is the best buy that can be made with this sum of money, and I do not believe that Cordiant would be a better option.

Pros
  • - Minimal wear per season - (100 kilometers ran on dry pavement at no more than 50 kilometers per hour, another 200 kilometers ran at no more than 79 kilometers per hour) out of four tires on one lost one stud - ice snow on the shoulder, rowing, rushing like a train, precisely slows down (taking into consideration the weather).
Cons
  • -Of course, the noise (although the spike that was before after 300 kilometers buzzing) the henkuk generates noise, but the noise can be tolerated because it does not put pressure on the ears. In the snow, you won't be able to hear it at all since the deeply little stones are packed into the thin lamellas. At speed, the stones will knock on the fender liner and the sills. Certainly not the worst.

Satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

Rode for a total of two years! I am not going to alter my behavior! Completely satisfied with everything! Before that, there was a bridge, a dunlop, and spikes; all of these things generate noise, despite the fact that they are 1.5 times more expensive. Whoever wants a spike, seize the opportunity without delay!

Pros
  • You need to be able to manage whatever surface you're working with, within reason! (It is normal for your thoughts to run in parallel with one another!). I did a lot of traveling in the spring on dry asphalt, so when I was driving on the highway I decided that I wouldn't count the spikes. I switched shoes and again checked everything; there is nothing out of place, and the tread is in excellent condition (season 2 in the photo). Never got trapped on it. Consumes snow and ice in the appropriate manner.
Cons
  • Regarding the cost, I can't think of anything negative to say about it! I will say this for people who have particularly acute hearing: there is noise, and you shouldn't pay attention to it. But those look like thorns to me!

Below are some advantages: High grade according to the results of tests conducted by ZR magazine and Autoreview, good price to quality ratio, largest number of spikes - appropriate for heavily icy roads with ice Some cons: The advantages lead to negatives, such as how loud the tire can be, which follow from the advantages.
