I assumed that's where I drop the essential oils, so I gave it a go. I really like these two wood pieces for diffusing my essential oils. They are convenient to carry, and I don’t have to worry about electrical cords or batteries. The product comes packaged well. Got 2 wooden pieces - well made, and 1 baggy thingy. Followed the instructions - use dropper and deposit 4 drops on the wooden pieces and waited for the oil to get absorbed. Needless to say that house smelled like the eucalyptus for a while :) Its kind of cool to see how the wood absorbs the oil. Took about 20 - 30 minutes for oil to get absorbed. This product did not work at all. I bought it to diffuse aromas in my infared sauna, in which you cannot use electric cords or plug-in diffusers, and it did not disperse any fragrance I tried.

I'm not sure if these hold the scene any better than just pouring it on a cloth and stashing it somewhere. I tried using this in the bathroom and in a closet but it just dissipates too fast to be effective. I would pass on this. It did not work well for me at all. It seems to be a good quality item and comes in a nice sack, so it is a nice idea. It just doesn't work for me.

Inside the little canvas pouch there are 2 round wooden cylinders about 2 inches tall with the top scooped out. You drop some essential oil into the divot to disperse the aroma. Sounds great, but didn't really work all that well. I tried this in my small bathroom and only initially got any scent. These might work if you have one or two favorite essential oils because the oil soaks into the wood.I really was hoping these would work better.

When I am sitting at my laptop in my living room, I can put a few drops of essential oil in the dip of the wood and it soaks in and I can smell it just fine. If I am in need of a pick me up, I use something with citrus or eucalyptus or even a blend to perk you up. I can smell the essential oil for hours. Of course, I am sitting about two feet from where it sits and it works fine for me. I like the natural wood for the oil to get absorbed. So far I have used only the light wood and I am pleased.

This came with no instructions at all. I placed a few drops of essential oil in the concave part. It soaked in. I out it in my car. It does not do very much at all. This might work better in a drawer or small closet.

One of the pieces is not absorbing the oil and the oil doesn’t long last it ,I want for my car is ok but I guess I have to try stronger oil,on one cause like I said in one is not absorbing the oil at all

Dip them in lemongrass oil for a few days, let it dry and put it in my dresser n closet draws, every time I open one i get the smell, plus my clothing smell good too.

It might work best in a very small enclosed space like your car. Again, this is a small piece of wood that absorbs essential oils.

I was expecting at least some type of diffused oil in the bottle - nada, zilch, zero, zed - NOTHING! Two pieces of wood should not close this much! They want me to rate the scent - what scent! They also want a rating on the ease of use - two pieces of wood - guess it's easy to use?
