The side of the flat blade broke after 2 weeks of use

Ideal for sockets and switches. 2 stars because one side of the flathead broke within 2 weeks of use. I will not buy again.

Cam protrusion on hand tools

I bought this because of the brand. I usually get quality when I buy Ideal tools. But this one misses the mark. The build quality is very good, but the tip, an important part, does not engage the screw. It has a very bad cambeat. I'm an electrician and I drive a lot of these special screws. It ends up in the back of my drawer as a waste of money. If you need this type of driver, please buy Wiha brand. It is also designed for 1000 volts at Wiha. . a professional electrician and I thought this would be the perfect screwdriver for installing equipment

I'm a professional electrician and thought this would be the perfect screwdriver for installing appliances. Unfortunately, part of the slotted tip broke off the second time I used it. I contacted Ideal and the rep told me I would have to pay to send the broken tip back so they could replace it under warranty. So I already spent $13 on a poor quality screwdriver and now I have to spend $5 to send it back? This is being sent to the trash as I'm sure the next one won't be any better. The lesson…
