I bought this for use in our pool as the climate cooled. It has worked very well to keep my torso warm while I soak me knees in a cold pool.

Does a great job of keeping you warm while swimming in cooler water. I wore this while at a lake when the water was still in the low-to-mid 50s but the air temperature was in the mid-to-upper 90s and it kept my core warm and mostly dry. I will warn against wearing it during hot summer days for long durations, as it is not very breathable, but I'm pretty sure it is intended to be that way, otherwise it would not keep you warm when you hopped into chilly waters.Have yet to experiment on cooler…

I normally take a L to XL, but the XL size was so tight I could not even get it zipped it. And there was no XXL. Never even got it wet.

The Large size vest fit just right on the upper torso, but is huge around the bottom torso and waist. The bottom of the jacket skirts out and would allow water to flow in freely, thereby defeating the purpose.

5’11’ 175lbs waist 34/35According to chart, medium should fit but I bought the large size. Large fits snugly. Medium would be too small.Also it does ride up while pool swimming. I got this for warmth for unheated outside pool. Keeps me warmer and buoyant. Happy with purchase.

Wow. Amazed on the fit. I looked at other reviews some say size was wrong. I went off the chart posted and go a great fit. Tried this out and was disappointed. Left a nasty rash on the inside of my arm. Was caused from the seam and the way it was sawed. Also when you go into the water feet first be ready it will ride up to your chest.

Fit was as described, well made, thick enough neoprene to provide warmth and slight floatation assistance. That's my feedback.

This is a gift to my husband who is 172cm, 75kg, works out daily. He says this fits him well. Though it is sleeveless and only covers the trunk, it is still helpful to make you feel less cold when snorkeling on a cooler day, for example, in April, in Hawaii (yes, hawaii water could still be somewhat cool if you stay in water more than 1 hour). This works well for my husband, however, everyone has a different build, I am speaking in terms of my experience based on my husband's ;) Good luck!

The product itself would have been fine but the wrong sizes were sent. A ladie's 14 per the size chart ended up being way too small and a men's XL was ordered but a medium was sent. Both were sent back and I ordered from another company with no problems.

This product is a great deal. It is very solidly made. I tried it on dry and it looked like it fit great, i felt lucky. Then I got in the water and there was a lot of water sloshing around inside. Its still helps, but I think a wetsuit is just a very hard thing to buy on line without trying it on at a store. But it will probably be a lot more expensive at a store, and if you don't live near a dive store this is a good option for you.

Beautiful jacket, and feel like good quality. But too tight for me. I ordered medium according to the size chart (I'm 5'7", 160 lbs, waist 31, bust 39). But the medium vest was uncomfortably tight. May be I got one with a bad cut. Since it's still a beautiful and good quality vest, I'll give 5 stars. Just need to find one that fits you.

Great swim vest. Comfy and keeps me warm for prolong water activities. Easy to get in and out of as well. Only complaint is around the neck, the inner seal behind the zipper kind of hits the bottom throat upon putting it on or taking it off. Got to readjust after it's on to make sure it doesn't keep hitting it while I'm in the water.

Keeps warm during swimming in winter/fall. Only caveat - works on moderately healthy to atheltic body types, as it doesn't stretch much. The material is excellent and made a significant difference to swimming experience - hence worth the price.

I ordered a medium. I am male. 160 pounds, 31" waist. It was way too short and very loose on me. Might be good for a shorter stocky man. btw, my wife has a women's small of this same suite and loves it (she is about 5'6" 116 pounds.)

I like it for the trauma of when you first get in the cold water. It doesn’t keep me warm while swimming because water goes in through the arms but makes a great drag. I will purchase it again as soon as it wears out. Wish they carried XS

Would buy vest again for minor core warmth only, used in cool swimming pool, no fading, good price.Somewhat stinky to start, outgas takes time to eliminate, not a deal breaker here.

XL fits fine - snug, as it should for best insulation from the cold. My specs: 6 foot, 200 lbs, 42" bust, 38" waist. The waist is a little loose but acceptable, I might sew it up to take up the slack for a perfect fit. Arm pits are fine, neck line a little tight but lower the zipper one inch fixes that. Nice quality zipper and materials throughout. Will use for ocean snorkeling. Very happy.

Unfortunately for me, this didn't fit me very well. I am 200lbs, 5'10, with a 38 waist. I ordered a 2xl. The Chest was slightly tight, but the abdomen too loose, which allowed the vest to ride up once in the water. Perhaps it would work better worn under an outer layer or attachment to a pair of wet suit shorts which would prevent the riding up.

I"m an adult man, retirement age. Small, marathon runner and triathlete. I needed a wetsuit vest ( similar to what I wore for years doing triathlons) to wear in cold swimming pools. Sooo, I ordered the smallest size available. It is too big. The waist is quite loose, water gets in and my back gets cold. The vest does appear to be well made ( even for China ) so this is just a critique of the sizing. I'll keep it, as I wear a long sleeve nylon polyester tee-shirt under it. I can keep warm enough

I'm 5'6, 145lbs, and the small fits well. I tried the medium but was too big. There is a little rub under the armpit area but I think if I wear a rash guard with any type of sleeve it'll be fine.
