More Chinese junk. in lifting legs

No instructions. I watched a video on YouTube about it. The clamps at each end of both parts will not open. Bought a pair from my local parts store and installed them in two minutes. I need two more for the rear window but I won't be buying them again here. I would send it back but I threw away the packaging.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

VERY DISAPPOINTED! best in lift legs

I ordered this part for my 2004 Jeep Liberty. After easy installation, the hood did not close completely. The gas cylinder was found to be 3/4 inch too long which prevented it from closing completely. I received the spacers when I was back home in the US. Now at my winter home in Mexico through June, making return impossible.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Without automatic

No more guillotine!

The bonnet struts started to fail a long time ago but I figured the mechanics could assist them if they needed access to the engine bay. I helped someone jump over a dead battery. How embarrassing! They did their job and installation was easy. When I started the installation, the hood was kept well open. I wanted to rename the Jeep Marie-Antionette. LAUGH OUT LOUD

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Something else

you are doing great work Easy to replace.

Replaced and what a difference! I no longer need a 2x4 to hold my hood. They do their job well, it just takes a little more effort to close the hood than the originals. I had 1 small problem. Where one of the ends connects, there was excess plastic inside. It appears to be left over from the molding process, preventing it from attaching properly to the packaging. I was able to delete it with no problems and then it worked fine.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Functionality

great aspirations; 2005 Jeep Liberty

Good supports for my limited edition 2005 Jeep Liberty hood. Easy to install; With the old factory ones I just had to pry off the metal clip and now the hood doesn't fall on my head when I open it. Quick note: the racks are significantly better than before. When opening the hood, it makes a lot more noise. The only problem we have is that my wife now has trouble closing the hood because the A-pillars are so stiff. Not a terrible problem, just something to consider.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • don't really like it is ok
