Real German quality! Large padlock and ring clamps require a lot of force to remove, the last thing you need is your tool bending while the clamp is under tension! Smaller tools should not be used! I've used them to remove and install 2" bearing retaining rings on Ford IRS steering knuckles and they worked great!

Also have to add my 5 stars. I needed a STRONG snap ring tool to remove the 2" snap ring on my Toyota Avalon's front wheel bearing. The ring has very high spring tension, not to mention it's set in after 200,000+ miles of wear. This tool was suitable for this task. It will have a special place in my tool box.

Great pliers for the price. 30 years in the automotive trade. Nice to see quality products here in Arizona. Don't grease your tool trolley, these pliers will get the job done! They are designed for large internal circlips. Ideal for front drive hubs when removing bearings. I could also buy an external style.

I was using cheap snap ring pliers from Harbor Freight and they kept slipping and falling out. She threw a heavy retaining ring in my face, immediately went in the trash and I picked her up. They work perfectly. No sloppy connection causing them to move, no slipping, no brute force required. These tongs are strong as a rock.

This tool did the job the first time, no problem. More context - this was the third tool I tried. I bought an extended needle tip and failed. I bought snap ring pliers from Ace Hardware and failed. This thing is well built, holds up well, and gets the job done. I think I appreciate it more that I failed twice. Great tool. Feel free to buy it.
