Good product, pay attention to the vacuum line attached to the bottom of the air intake. Some older vehicles have old hoses that need to be replaced. Get ready to replace that spherical hose.

Claimed to fit E36 M3 but this is misleading as it only applies to US version of M3 not "Euro Spec" M3 - this is a completely different car. It does not fit "Euro Spec" M3.

This air intake was easy to install, a bit fiddly to screw in, one part requires about 3 hands. This resulted in a huge change in driving feel and performance, who would have thought that being able to breathe in your car would make a huge difference. Great product and fast shipping. Easy to install - took about 30-40 minutes - a decent mechanic would do it in 10! Lol A VERY noticeable improvement in off-line and on-road performance - the exhaust sound gets a bit deeper too. After two tanks of gas, my car computer has increased by an average of 1.4mpg, and that includes getting heavy legs with the new improved performance.

This K&N intake was installed over 5 years and 75,000 miles ago and works just as well today as it did then. The sporty intake sound alone is worth something! It was pretty easy to install. If you have Legos or model cars/planes/etc. can build, you can do it. It can also save you money in the long run as the standard filter is recommended to be replaced every 10-15k miles for around $25 each (OEM BMW) and this filter never needs to be changed just cleaned and lubricated every 25k. miles on…
