It was worth the wait!: Air Intake

I was skeptical because it was so much cheaper than retail price. But in the end I got what I wanted. That's a huge difference in sound and acceleration. Love it!

K&N stays true: Filter

Best CAI manufacturer by far, I have used their CAI on all my cars and most recently on my Camaro v6. Makes the car sound a bit more aggressive and has a positive effect on fuel consumption.

Really improved performance on my 2010 6 cylinder Camaro

The kit was easy to assemble. I don't have specs, but acceleration (0-60) dropped below the original 6 seconds. Goodbye!

You'll feel the extra power immediately.

Installing this assembly is fairly easy and takes about 30 minutes with the right tools. and it comes with a very nice step-by-step installation guide. it sounds very nice and you notice the extra power quite well when accelerating in first and second gear.

Air Intake Disappointment

Well, first let me say that the product fits perfectly. The intake sounds great and I noticed a little more traction in the lower speed range. However, after about 30 miles my car came up with a check engine code. P2179 Too lean at idle, bank 2. Not the quality I expected from K&N. Poryskav on forums it turned out that the problem lies in this particular model. Unfortunately, K&N customer service is closed on weekends, so I have to wait with the check engine light until I can contact theโ€ฆ

Do not take any risks!

I bought and installed this product more than 9 months ago. Before I write a review I wanted to see how it goes. Before purchasing this item I did my homework and seen people having issues with this product on their V6 Camaros. Maybe it was a rejection and I didn't think it was the product that was causing their problems, but I decided against my better judgment and bought this product. In the beginning it was amazing. It improved my throttle response, sounded great, and greatly improved fuelโ€ฆ
