Beautiful, Sharp, but Bevels were not Equal.

Its gorgeous to behold. The wood handle is very pretty and the blade is large for doing large amounts of prep. I am a chef and needed a good knife for large amounts of prep. This vegetable clever fit the bill. My only complaint is the slight favor on the left bevel which makes the knife slice to the right. Ive been working on it myself. Idk if this is apart of the design that forces the knife away from the user (being right handed it pushes the blade to the right, away from my 'claw hand'). Not

Pros
  • Nothing to dislike. Awesome for cutting up meat. The look is awesome!
Cons
  • Too heavy hard to handle

Really great value best in my review

Good weight and balance. Easy to clean and wipe down. Comes sharpened. Cuts fruits, vegetables, meats, and fingers effortlessly.

Pros
  • Super sharp, easy to handle
Cons
  • The price point may be too high for budget-conscious consumers

Never Used, Too Heavy

When I opened the package and lifted the cleaver I found it much too heavy for me. Item is being returned. The 9CrMoV18 blade may be more prone to chipping than other materials, such as ceramic!

Pros
  • Was a gift for my partner. He loves it. Sharp as hell and comfortable.
Cons
  • The 9CrMoV18 blade may be more prone to chipping than other materials, such as ceramic

A very nice knife!: my feedback

The Kitory knife is light weight but heavy enough to cut though a head of cabbage with with ease. This knife is very well balanced and very sharp right out of the package.

Pros
  • Very durable and perfect for cutting fish o chop vegetables
Cons
  • The cleaver may be too heavy for extended periods of use, causing fatigue in the user's hands and arms

Good feel, needed sharpening.

The knife has a very good weight to it and the gandle has a good grip. My only issue was I had to sharpen the knife quite a lot when it arrived.

Pros
  • Takes a little getting used to using a cleaver for veges ect but stays sharp and takes the steel well
Cons
  • The natural wood handle may not be as durable as other materials, such as plastic or metal

Great knife - my new review

My husband purchased this knife for his own use in the kitchen. He likes it. Quality product, nice weight, lovely handle.

Pros
  • Awesome knife!!
Cons
  • The high carbon steel blade is not dishwasher safe, requiring hand washing and careful drying

Beautiful but too heavy

I didn’t even use it once because as soon as I lifted it up I knew it was too heavy for my hand and wrist. It is a beautiful item and for the right person I’m sure it would be perfect. It just wasn’t for me unfortunately.

Pros
  • Im pleasantly surprised at the quality and fit of this knife , great with vegetables and meat
Cons
  • The wood handle may absorb moisture, leading to mildew or mold growth

Rusts Very Easily good for me

Looks nice and works well, but it rusts super easily, and the wood handle is not very smooth, lots of burrs. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • pretty good knife..
Cons
  • The large size of the cleaver may be intimidating for novice cooks or those with less experience using knives

Rusted pretty quickly.

I love the design, the weight, how it feels in hand, and overall very sharp, my only and ultimately the biggest issue is that afterabout two uses the blade started to get rusty. I had to remove the rust and cure the blade again before I could use it. It was a big let down to see rust on the fine blade. Forshame to the maker.

Pros
  • So far it's good
Cons
  • The cleaver may be too large for users with smaller hands to comfortably handle

Very dull upon arrival

You get what you pay for with this knife. It is fairly cheap but the quality is right there as well. A dull knife is dangerous so I would not buy this unless you are able to sharpen it before you use it the first time.

Pros
  • Muy bueno y ergonómico excelente comprá
Cons
  • The blade's thickness may make it difficult to sharpen with standard knife sharpeners

Amazing blade for the money.

Excellent blade. Comes pre-sharpened to near razor sharpness. Good weight and balance. Just an overall excellent item.

Pros
  • Very sharp and cool looking, I just wonder how I'll sharpen it without scuffing the pristine shine
Cons
  • The natural wood handle may absorb odors and flavors from food, affecting the taste of future meals

A quality tool in my kitchen

I havent had the chance to use it yet. However am looking forward to that moment. Living on a farm, cutting up various meats i have needed a cleaver. Been borrowing my sons out of his chef collection. My new cleaver has a nice feel to it. Just heavy enough. The overall design is gorgeous.

Pros
  • Like!!!!!
Cons
  • The weight of the cleaver may cause it to tip over if placed on a flat surface

Looks like a knock off

First glance without use: Box is all chinese writing. Ran my finger across knives and they aren't sharp. bought as a Christmas present. hopefully it's what they expected. But for the price the quality isn't there.

Pros
  • I bought this as a gift for my husband. He likes it and says it’s the perfect size and weight.
Cons
  • Makes a tick noise when you shake the handle

Great, but no case - my new review

This knife is great, but comes without a case and is so sharp. I am afraid to keep it uncovered in the drawer. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Love it. Great product!
Cons
  • The weight of the cleaver may cause discomfort or pain for users with preexisting hand or arm conditions

Great cleaver/chopper for the price

Sharp, solid knife. Plenty of weight for the big jobs and definitely arrived with a great edge on it. Very happy with this product for the price. The only concern I have is the handle doesn't seem to be coated or laquered. Just natural wood so I definitely won't be putting it in a dishwasher. Not a big deal to me but may be for some people.

Pros
  • I gave the knifes to my friends. They loved the knife.
Cons
  • The design of the cleaver may make it difficult to maneuver in tight spaces

Nice knife very sharp

This knife cut a turkey right in half, it's very sharp so we keep it up in a box. We use it when we are going to cut meet with a bone in it. It's a great knife.

Pros
  • Very Nice Product- High Quality
Cons
  • The larger size of the blade may make it difficult to store in smaller kitchen spaces

Not the sharpest - my new review

Not the sharpest blade in the draw. I use it for vegetables. Has a bit of trouble with raw sweet potato. But it does apples and oranges ok.

Pros
  • Great value
Cons
  • The cleaver may be too large to fit comfortably in a standard knife block
