but the kit installed easily with proper guidance

At the moment I can't talk about performance gains or mileage changes, but the kit installed easily with adequate guidance. The metal tube is very light and can easily be dented/bent, so be careful when tightening the clamps around it (only use a screwdriver). The inlet is much louder than the stick and has good tone.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Expensive

Works but how much?

Installed a 2015 Sport 2.0 on my Elantra. The intake is very good. That looks good too. But there is no noticeable increase in performance. Maybe 5-10 hp. This makes the car louder. The engine can be heard more. It's a suction sound, so it's deep and raspy. This can make rev matching (6 gears) easier, but probably not worth the price or bother.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • There are flaws

Good product. Please read the notice below.

Sounds great! It was pretty easy to install, except for the heat shield on the rubber mount. One of the screws included with this heat shield mounting kit was badly threaded and trying to attach the heat shield was a nightmare. Everything else was kind of uncomplicated. Looks great in the car and sounds even better! The only thing I have to warn about is what years this product is rated for. Advertisement says it will fit for 2017, but it isn't. The box says 2014-2016. 2.0 and 1.8.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • A few little things

Installed on Hyundai Elantra 2018 SEL

What can I say! Very happy with the results because it improves the sound of the engine (it sounds like a V6 hahaha). As you can see I had some minor issues with the heat shield and installation but other than that I am more than happy with the product and so far so good! I won't lie, I saw a reduction in fuel economy from 34mpg to 31mpg. It's a bit tricky to install because the space in my engine bay is a bit smaller than it was in the old days, but hey. You can definitely do it yourself, it's

Pros
  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Installation was easy, I used the stock cam hose because the one they sent me was too short, about 4 inches. This is not a problem as the Atock hose is the same and in good condition. The only problem is getting rid of the bearing pickup system entirely since it was just a bunch of plastic. On the plus side, and why I gave you guys five stars, is that my car is alive now. The throttle response is noticeably better. I've tested it in the hills at the same RPM range and there are improvements…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Terrible installation experience on my 2017 Hyundai Elantra SE. I have fitted these air intakes to various cars, there have been no problems. It was terrible. The owner's manual says it was made specifically for my car. It even says so on the packaging. No exit. The photos they used for the instructions are of a completely different car, even though the box says it's the exact same car. Then the parts don't fit properly. I CANNOT adjust the vent guide to the filter for nothing. In the photo…

Pros
  • Best
