My one dislike of this paddle and the reason I sent it back was that it was too flexible for me. I bought it as a replacement for the one that came with my board. It was just too bendy as I paddled. Being a bigger guy, I weigh around 260, I needed something with more sturdiness. Other than that it was easy to assemble, felt great in the hand, and the padded bag was a great addition.

After using this paddle for about 1 season and the start of the next, this paddle is a nightmare. That may sound dramatic, but putting the paddle together and taking it apart is a two person job. This can not be right. I feel as if the paddle is flawed. It is near impossible to fit the paddle to the middle section with the push button clasp. We literally have to spend 10 minutes just trying to turn and force the pieces together. Finally, they are together, now the hardest part. Breaking down…

This paddle is a game changer for paddle boarding. It's so light and sturdy. The carrying case is such a bonus too - looks like cool instrument case and takes up no space at all. I can't go back to my old aluminum paddle after buying this. It doesn't seem to have the give that multi-part paddles usually have.

Solid paddle for the price. Well designed in terms of weight, size of paddle, grip, portability. Nice bag included as well. Can’t go wrong for an $80 paddle.Edit: ended up returning after a few uses because the handle started spinning on me. I decided to upgrade to a better paddle that will last me longer.

I love how light and comfortable this paddle is. It is very efficient. The composite that the paddle portion is made of, is very durable and works well. I highly recommend considering this paddle.

Upon first use of paddle the handle end of paddle filled up with water and the water wont come out. Contacted company twice via email. No response back. The paddle was very lightweight before water got stuck in it.

I purchased this paddle as a backup travel and surf paddle. It is a bit heavy but the price was right at the time and it came with a nice bag. Unfortunately, I have had the same problem happen to me 3 times with the blade snapping at the shaft. The first time it was determined to be a manufacturing defect. I bought this thinking it was made of Carbon and it’s light weight but it’s only a very small part of the paddle that is carbon and it’s not really light weight comparing to my cheap $6 paddles

Awesome weight and balance, just gave myself a blood blister snapping the handle together. But operator error doesn't take away from a great product at a fantastic price!

Good paddle for the price. Would be better if the blade wasnt so heavy, VERY blade heavy in the water. WEll see how long the adjustment system works. Still a good buy.

this exceeded my expectations. The price is exceptional. The weight is good and it was easy to assemble. I especially love the bags which helps to pack the paddel especially for travel or at the end of the season.

Arrived on time. The bag is nice to have and compact enough to stow it easily for travel to/from the beach. That's my feedback.

Not quite as lightweight as my friend's more expensive and fancy carbon fiber paddle, but still a huge improvement over the paddle my board came with. Nice carrying case. If you have a bigger budget then sure, go with something fancy - if not, you'll be happy with what you get here.

I'm new to paddling and this is my first paddle. For a beginner, the paddle cannot be more ideal. It is light, solid, and easy to grip. The paddle can be easily taken apart into three pieces and carried along in a bag that came with it. Quite a bargain for how much it is. The delivery was on time--in fact, it arrived sooner than expected--and the product is exactly how it is advertised. I'm very excited and cannot wait for my first paddling!

What a difference! I have to get used to the lack of weight while moving it from one side to the other. Practically throwing it over! The shaft is well made and sturdy. Easy to put together, edges are smooth, doesn’t twist around while paddling. Less fatigue and more distance covered. The paddle is pretty solid and withstands bumps and scrapes. Nice to have a bag to put the pieces in for storage. Happy with the paddle!

I started SUP surfing in April 2021. This was the first paddle that I bought. I had no issues with the paddle the first one or two times that I used it. After the third time though, I noticed that water was getting inside the paddle. I wrote to the company and they told me to remove the plug if I was able. I was never able to find a tool that would do that. I could shake the water out after each surf session, but it took a ton of shaking each time. I used the paddle like this until December…

I am new to SUP so this review is from my experience that your paddle is the second most important item next to your PFD. Spend your $$ on a good PFD and Paddle and upgrade your craft as your skills and conditions change. I paddled WW canoes, kayaks, rafts, and squirt boats both privately and as a video kayaker.I have only used this Abahub paddle a few times , one class 2-3 WW and rest mild river and a reservoir.
