Good for prototypes.

Update: I made some battery covers black. It worked great. I make prototype parts for work. I chose the translucent version to better see the inner lining. I like this resin so much that I used a few liters of this material. The biggest challenges for me were setting up my new latest resin printer. Translucent requires a bit more effort, but the pros outweigh any cons for my current needs. Previous experience with Weistek's blue ABS-like resin has shown that it's a bit easier to load and use. I

The print results were really great

"I've had very few misfires with my prints and they may not have been resin related. I've had some time using this and other resins and have come to a few conclusions that I'd like to share: --- The faint odor is barely noticeable. ---Resin sticks to the baseplate, if the baseplate is level and the settings are right, this resin is a winner. ---It is very important to check the resin exposure time before printing, some of the darker colors take more seconds per coat.---This resin pack is really

Pros
  • Not fragile and fast curing

  • Very expensive

He has made great technical prototypes so far.

This is a great material, I've used it with the Elegoo Saturn to make full size engineering prototypes. The key so far has been to use medium supports and a large number of them so that they are well attached to the part. I've also found that the result is much better if you only remove the supports in the critical/matching areas (like holes/inserts/etc) and remove those supports before UV curing. They just get away with little or no trace. If you then UV dry the part for 2 minutes in a…
