💨 ACDelco GM OEM 15-72654 A/C Vacuum Actuator Review

Item works and arrived quickly. I disconnected the actuator from the cam and already put it on the cam in my car. This has saved me hundreds of dollars at work. The work isn't pleasant, but it's worth it. The hardest part is getting to the old drive. You don't have to disassemble the entire dashboard. You can reach it from below. The product corresponds to the advertising. I only used the motor, not the cam body. This complete assembly was cheaper, but only the motor. I installed it on my 2004 Deville. Access to the engine from the driver's side. The knee fairing has been removed and part of the air duct in the floor has been cut out to allow easy access for engine changes. The new motor moves the panels smoothly and silently.

My 04 Deville had a clicking noise that drives you crazy and makes your feet cold and the rest hot. This fixed a confused air conditioner going through various vents and eventually settling on my legs. I was sweating above the waist and lost feeling in my toes from frostbite. Initially I disabled the drive so air was only blown through the forward facing vents which work fine but needed the defroster in winter so had to replace it with a new drive.

. I heard a click in my dash and couldn't get air out of the correct vents. It turned out that the original motor had 1-2 tiny teeth broken on a plastic gear which was causing all of my problems.
