Works great on my 2010 Traverse!

Works great! I had difficulty installing due to the narrowness. For my 1/4" ratchet I bought a swivel head and a short extension at the hardware store and after that the assembly went much better.

  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Hard Access Most

Replaced passenger side actuator to control airflow to another vent in the 2009 Chevy crosshead. Worked as stated. Glove box and under cover must be removed to access. A used cordless impact wrench with a 6 inch flexible shaft connected to a 90 degree adapter that holds a Torx T20 bit. The easiest access is from below. After installing the new part, remove and replace the 15A HVAC fuse in the panel under the lower right side of the glove box to reset the system. Presto - Blow the air back into…

The product arrived on time. Unfortunately not that part.

The product arrived on time. Unfortunately not the right part. Basically, it's my fault, not the seller's. This is an additional door operator. I need the one under the dash, I need the glove box. The description says door assist so it's my fault for not reading carefully but they look exactly the same except for the model number. I believe the product description could have made this difference clearer.

enclave 2011 some tips

2011 eclave worked well for 30 min. Install as soon as you know which one is bad. Played with the controls and watched them move to eliminate. Note. Defrost for ventilation of the floor on the passenger side, remove the glove box, from the two it is visible closer to the front of the car. Use a 1/4" torx bit with tape wrapped around the bit to make it strong on the smallest 1/4" ratchet you have. Note that this gets the job done in less than 1/2 hour. Clean the cabin filter while it's there…

Worked on a 2011 Traverse LS dial drive cold/hot.

Used to replace a stuck hot/cold air drive (center disc control and passenger side center drive access) on our 2011 front wheel drive Chevy Traverse LS. Ratchet handle with T-20 bit (also on Revain) for access and project help. Delivery and repair without problems. Heat works in all zones again! Remember when to plug this in and dial hot/cold where it was when it didn't line up with the pointer on the pickoff piece (you'll know when you get there) so it snaps smoothly into place. .

Installed on a 2011 GMC Acadia temperature control door.

Worked well on a 2011 GMC Acadia (I have standard climate control, not automatic). I substituted the "lower" mixing the temp. Previous reviews have been VERY helpful as this is located to the left of the glove box behind the dash and the 3 screws are a bit awkward to get to. Remove the glove box, dash lower cover and side panel on the side of the console to access this part. My little wrench tripped and grounded the positive wire of the HVAC fan under the dash and blew the fuse. I think the fan

Perfect for my 2011 GMC Acadia

I ordered this actuator for my 2011 GMC Acadia (no AC). A different one is required for vehicles with automatic climate control. Airflow is no longer adjustable from floor to dash to dash and everything in between. The hardest part was pulling out the old part and putting in the new one. The layout of the parts I took from the dealer (there are 3 actuators that are in close proximity to each other). I had to remove the glove box and get some access to the drive under the attachment. I used a…
