I had a leak at the fuel pressure regulator on my 1997 Chevy Blazer. This replacement did exactly the right thing and works great. This took about 2 hours. The cross does not need to be removed from the holder. Just tilt it up by opening it in the holder

I bought this because my fuel pressure was 45psi at ignition. Like 55-65. Installed this regulator and the pressure is still 45psi. I just replaced the fuel pump. Ignition still not working at 45 psi. Either the specified pressure is incorrect or this controller is defective. I'm working on random misfires.

This is a good replacement part, it seems a bit overpriced but it works well. It is not catastrophic (like fire, geysers, or flaming geysers) or otherwise failed. However, it's still too early to say how it will compare to the one it replaces, especially given that the old one lasted just over 10 years (and was definitely a different design).
