I used it on a 95ft Impala LT1

Bolts on bolts - just need to tap lightly on the bracket holding the starter power wire to engage it in the terminal. Now the car starts "with full authority".

Pros
  • New solenoid contacts with copper terminals and metal plating
Cons
  • -

Perfect fit for spares

Exact replacement for my 96 LT4, not too difficult to install. It's so nice that my car starts straight away instead of clicking 5/10/or 15 times before the starter engages.

Pros
  • Starters have new bronze sintered and oiled armature bushings
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I even used stock devices from the original starter. This Corvette starter works perfectly, looks good, sounds a little different (more like a gear whistle), is a little more compact and even costs a little less. as a…

  • Rebuilt using consistent quality processes; not remanufactured only

Great for F-Body 82-92!

The starter was packaged well and looked great. in my 3rd generation Camaro. It's a popular replacement for any 82-92 Camaro - and damn it makes a difference! The cables/wires going to the starter in the above usage may need to wiggle and some clips need to be removed, but otherwise a smooth replacement. The sound also changes, some say it sounds like a Mopar. but I prefer a clockwork car more than anything! This should also help warm up when running headers. Be sure to clean the mounting…
