🚗 Actron CP7826 Compression Tester: Accurate Diagnosis for Engine Compression Review

Not sure how accurate this is, but it seems pretty close at least. Close enough for me, although I suspect it's close to perfect.

I used it to measure the pressure in the engine of a used jeep I bought. I had no problems with it and it shows that the pressure was ok.

The rubber hose on the 6th cylinder burst first. Returned and replaced with no problems but the second one was never used. Still repackaged. I borrowed a good quality one from AutoZone. You get what you pay for in quality.

Good budget compressor, I've mainly used it on small engines and chainsaw engines. I ended up with a set of adapters because it only comes with a standard plug size. If you need it for more than just cars, you can purchase a kit that includes all the adapters. For an inexpensive tester, this is a really great job.

This tester consists of 2 parts: a hose and a pressure gauge. Before reassembling, I tested the gauge's safety valve for leaks by simply blowing into the base of the gauge.
