I used this to attach my gaming headset to my laptop and it works great. It was truly plug and play as the device was automatically recognized by Windows 10 and no drivers were required. The sound is very clear and decent enough for gaming and phone applications.

This audio adapter really saved me. For some reason, my motherboard's built-in audio ports decided it was appropriate to route my headphone output to my mic input (this was done with three separate headsets), but it was easy to connect and use, and has perfectly isolated signals from day one. The sound quality was not affected in the slightest by my built-in audio connections.
