These placemats are just what I was looking for. They are durable for everyday use, very easy to wipe clean and great looking. They would be a nice hostess gift or house warming gift and are super if you have kids or messy adults. I use one under my coffeemaker so I can slide it out from under the cabinet easily and it keeps the countertop clean. Very happy with this item!

Don't hesitate, these are great. The material feels almost like rubber & grips to the table. I think they will last a long while. Absolutely adorable for summer with my teal chairs, I'll probably get more colors for the different seasons.

don't care for the feel of the material. Could possibly mar the wooden tabletop I was going to use it for. I will keep this and use for outdoor use but never order it for a wooden table top

I ordered these because I had cloth ones before and with 3 kids and a husband, they were needing a serious wash every other day. I didn't know how they would look but I LOVE THEM! They look as fancy as cloth ones, only better. They are great with hot plates of food. If food sticks to them it comes right off. I love these and am grateful someone made such a beautiful but durable and most of all affordable product that makes my dining table.

I love the idea of fabric place mats but I have several guests I need to feed who love to make a mess. These are easy to wipe clean and the size is smaller than traditional place mats making them a good fit for my shorter table. I was able to fit 8 people around a 80 long table for holiday dinner.

These are not a smooth non porous mat. They do look nice, I like the design. Leaks could occur through them. I have them sitting on top of another solid color mat.

The reason I purchased the placemats was to go outside on my glass patio table. They worked perfectly. I can wipe them with just a damp cloth and I had a spill which went through and was able to just lift it up and clean the spill up and wipe the placemat up! They stay outside and so far have maintained their color even with direct sunlight!

Not sure about heat resistance, haven't tried that yet. But for kids they work perfect. Very easy to clean. Look great too.
