🪡 5 Inch (13cm) US Size 14 (0.75mm) Steel Addi Crochet Hook Review

I bought this hook for my dreadlocks because I was tired of bamboo handle hooks breaking. At this point the hook seems extremely strong and reliable BUT it is all metal and difficult to grab without a handle. Also, I don't think it's 0.75, it's definitely smaller, probably 0.5,2/5 stars for those reasons.

I recommend this hook over other popular hook designs. Although they seem easier to hold, the hook eventually breaks because they are just glued to the handles! Addy, on the other hand, is steel from top to bottom, so it can't break! I've been using the same one for 3 years and I see it lasts forever. Don't hesitate to buy :)

I have been crocheting for 18 years now and Addi is one of the few brands I know that has the quality I need for the detailed crochet work - many other brands (especially Boye) if the Size smaller than 2 or 2.5mm will have hooks that are too small or too sharp and can snag on the fine 3 strand yarn I use.
