I bought it mainly as an English muffin pan - 3.5 inch is just right. They don't look like the old-fashioned round cookie cutters you might remember from back in the day. They are made of durable, thick-walled stainless steel. They hold their shape, distribute heat evenly, and are highly polished to prevent sticking. The welds are clean and polished, so there are no irregular shapes. You will be satisfied with this quality product.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rings. I was expecting cookie cutters to bend easily, but they are very strong. There are no seams either. The first thing I did was make crumpets with it and they came out perfect (and delicious). Following my recipe, I sprayed the inside with nonstick cooking spray just before adding the batter. They slid right off the donuts without sticking. Very easy to wash. I look forward to trying other recipes with them, such as Japanese pancakes.

I've used Aebitsry egg rings half a dozen times, mostly in a cast iron skillet and once in a nonstick skillet. They never leaked an egg from below. They do what they say, just great. Place them in a shallow pan, turn on the heat, and spray the inside of the ring with cooking spray. Once the pan is hot enough to fry the egg, crack the egg into a ring and let it fry.
