Disappointing Intake Performance

The AEM 21 8211DP Polished Intake System fell short of my expectations. Based on my observations, it did not provide the automotive performance boost that I was hoping for. The installation process was also more difficult than anticipated.

Crazy whistle! - Spare parts

I have several buddies with different air intakes, all Common Rail 5.9, this air intake has the best sound. And better access to the oil filter. It costs money.

Nice Looking and Sounding Air Intake

I installed this air intake on my 2506 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel about 6 months ago and not only does it look good under the hood it makes a great turbo sound. I think I opened up the airflow to the turbo, but it's not loud enough to be disruptive. Long journeys are still good with this air scoop. Installation was easy and didn't take long, maybe an hour or so. This depends on your skills and the tools available. In the end, I'm glad I made this purchase.
