Installed after I installed a K&N cold air intake in.

Installed after installing a K&N cold air intake on my Nissan Titan. Even more improvement noticed. The whistle cannot be heard.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Waste of time, waste of money, just like a fake.

A waste of time, a waste of money, just like the fake Turbo Spin air intake that was the product of the TV ad, it was the same as a defective part.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • High price

Easy install, sounds cool!

I bought two of these for my father in law and my Nissan Titans. Easy to install, great sound! Does it give you more hp? Probably not, I don't feel any difference, but the cool factor of how it sounds is amazing.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Nothing

more responsive - Performance Parts & Accessories

I installed it with an Airaid 521-284 MXP, it's VERY tight, the gasket is pushing the TB out and now my cold air is touching the belt Fan. Plastic. I used to have all the stocks and I can feel the difference. The truck is definitely more responsive. And it meets CARB requirements. Installed on a 2008 Nissan Titan Pro4X.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other picks

Cheap Torque at Performance Parts & Accessories

This is a great product, before I installed it on my Titan I could barely hear a chirp from my rear wheels when starting off from a standstill. After installing it, my rear barks pretty well. Especially uphill I have a significant increase in torque. Do that! It's easy to install and costs $100 per win.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Not the best

Airaid Installation 2008 Nissan Titan

Will not fit 2008 Nissan Titan when used in conjunction with K&N 57 Series Air Intake System. I didn't want to cut my sheathing to use the gasket. I figured I was getting enough performance gains from the air intake alone.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Can't remember

but made of cheap material and very easy to remove

This type is difficult to install. At least that's how it was on my truck. The old bolts were twisted and one had snapped off. The screws for this are longer (they should be) but they are cheap stuff and very easy to loosen. Be careful when installing this. I'm glad I have it, the idea of improving gas mileage (don't know how/if it improved) makes me happy.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • There are defects
