There is no point in buying other brake pads for regular riders until the company gets old and they will change their quality control from In 2021 they still make amazing products worth buying.

Acebono: Honda OEM. Looks and feels like a quality item. Fits perfectly. Expect the Ultra to have even better braking performance than the originals on our 2012 CR-V. Do they also last 80,000 km? The time will show.

Akebono ultra premium ceramic pads (I used them on my 2011 Honda CRV) are low dust and quiet pads. I have used many different brands in the past but I have not surpassed these Akebono brakes. They are quiet, low dust brakes and I have to say the build quality is top notch as well.

I have used Akebono ProAct ceramic pads for many years. This is a great silent pad with the stopping power you'd expect. They come with clips and are easy to install. They also come with a small amount of lube for the pads' contact points. I paired them with a new set of Brembo rotors. So far, so good! The only thing I had with me was a spring clip on the butt side. It took a little wiggling to get them in place.

No noise and no brake problems! These Akebonos are high quality brake pads for everyday riders like you and me. I don't do crazy stops and stops, I don't race and ride normal. Get them if you want the most reliable brake pads. (They fit the back of my Honda CRV 2016 FWD model).
