No difference to those with two antennas. Same signal level as dual modules. At least this one stayed on and didn't turn off from time to time. I'm using this wifi adapter with Linux Mint 18 and it's great. If you're buying this for Linux, be sure to install the drivers. I'm using drivers from zebulon2/rtl8814au on GitHub. I suspect some Linux users left negative reviews because they had driver issues.
