More than expected.

This cone is a lot bigger than I thought it would be (huge) from the pictures but it turned out to be a good thing for my dog. He's had a back toe amputated, so it's important not to let him chew. Not an easy task. With the help of a cone provided by the vet, he was able to get up on his leg. This one seems huge, but that's preventing him from reaching his leg. It's made of a cloth-like material, so it's probably more comfortable for the dog. This cone attaches with an adjustable cord but also…

Comfortable closed cone

My little 7 lb Yorkie loves the X-Small size! He has a problem with his left eye and had to protect it from the previous cone with more comfort. He's less rigid. I turned it inside out when I got it because it was too flat and pressed against his head a bit. He can sleep peacefully. It is flexible and scrapes all the way to the head with its hind legs, but cannot reach the sides of the head near the eyes. The donut ring doesn't protect his eye because it's flexible. I highly recommend it if…

Not worth the time and money

Got this because I was spaying my 6 month old puppy and wanted her to be a little more comfortable. Especially after the operation. I put it on the next day because that's when it arrived. Within the first hour she managed to turn it inside out so that the width of the cone was half. I managed it with some DIY and put her in a crate to sleep because she still had no energy. Less than 30 minutes later I heard a noise coming from her drawer and she managed to chew it up and pull it off…

REALLY GOOD, 10/10 used for lab with TPLO

My lab tore their ACL 4 years ago, I was trying to make inflated comfort cones that look like airplane cushions. They were both too hot and it was ok to keep them from reaching her leg so I had to stitch 2 together. Not perfect. When she tore up the second one, I decided okay. Soft light cone. It really worked like a charm, it was very easy to put your head on and just thread the collar through to hold it up. Summer, she's hot, I've never had panting for lack of air. She slept with him at night

so far it has taken less than 72 hours. This kept my labrador from attacking her hotspots until she destroyed it. She seemed comfortable and happy in it. Then I noticed that she had holes on her sides and she would put her paws through the holes and bite her hot spots. I kept finding the cone on the ground or in the yard and had to put it back on my dog. She never fought back and didn't seem to mind. After 2 days I found torn pieces on the floor. This could pose a potential choking hazard if my

Protects the face, softness is good, staying power is not good

My dog has a wart on his face. The vet does not recommend surgery as it will grow back. Veterinarians do not recommend using a wart remover anywhere near the eyes, as the fumes can damage the eyes. She scratches the wart and makes it bleed. The padded collar really protects her face from scratches. The soft collar is made of a hard material and after about 6 weeks I had to replace the collar as it was badly scratched from her scratches. The soft collar and large size allows her to eat, drink…

My cat's neck is 11 inches. She has a chronic problem and has to wear an e-collar. I thought it was "Soft". Well, it has a hard plastic frame. Upholstered in the cheapest synthetic fabric "First of all, it was badly wrinkled. Common sense would say heat the plastic to smooth out the creases. BAD idea. As the fabric is an acetate type, it kind of melted under the heat of the hair dryer 1" of it The product. Couldn't believe it. - Second, I ordered this size due to the size of my cat's neck. She…

Well Her Ear Is Healing

My dog cut his ear with barbed wire. So we ordered this so she wouldn't scratch it while it heals. Your ear has a chance to heal, which was the pinnacle, so hooray! Luckily it heals quickly because I don't think this collar will last more than a day or so. The collar's plastic "bones" are pretty good, but the fabric is the cheapest, most tear-resistant flimsy junk I've seen. I plan to use my own fabric to "fix" the collar when she no longer needs it and we will put it away next time she needs…
