I bought this crochet hook set to pull loose hair out of my curls. It works pretty well and is easy to use. It takes some getting used to and may hurt/cut users' fingers the first time. (Be extremely careful when using it. I got the needle stuck pretty deep in my finger.) After some practice, I became pretty much an expert.

I like the handles on these needles, they are easier to grip as I have carpal tunnel syndrome. I often use single and double hooks. The triple hook is more difficult to use and can be useful on very long locks. Great value for money, just wish the case they came in had a zip to keep them closed. The case is more like a "butter dish" where the lid simply detaches without being fixed. This is the only complaint about this item.

My son's hair is curly and soft and doesn't hold but at 0.5mm on dry hair no product is too big until you crochet the other size one from the makeup store and it was hard afraid to get in and out. This 3 pen saves a life and makes it so much faster. I would recommend it to anyone and I already have a thank you and you can't beat the price.
