Buyer Warning. for power converters

The box had a small dent in the case (as another reviewer mentioned) but I tested it and it worked fine. I'm careful enough with my electronics to expect them to last, so I moved on. Connected two LED strips each 1.4A 38.8W at 110V, very simple application. The box was switched on once, the light worked perfectly. On the second shot, the box shone and failed completely. A piece of junk.

  • Great for a small house

Loose Screw - Power Accessory

Still working after additional loose screws were removed and they no longer rattle on the 110v board. I doubt the validity of the QC IS0 9001 sticker. The certification body has no record of the company and the conspicuous absence of any model, serial or certificate number makes confirmation even more difficult. It looks like it has internal backup and MOV but be careful when using this device.

Works very well but technical diagrams are missing

I bought this to power a 24 volt 15 amp motor. Works well, electricity is clean. My only downside is that it doesn't come with instructions or technical diagrams. I should have figured it out, but unless you have electrical experience that would probably be a problem. I'm still trying to figure out the voltage screw for +/- on a DC output. If they had a speed dial (which I assume is like a tension screw, that would be perfect.

Works well on power converters

Came in good condition and works as expected. I use it to control a drill I built. Drilling isn't something I do for a living, so since this power supply isn't used all the time or often, I'm sure it will last me quite a while. I had to buy uninsulated screw terminals because they were the only ones. a size that can accommodate a 12g cable and fit into the PSU ports. So make sure you have the right width when working on your projects. I recommend waiting for power before preparing cables.

Arrived damaged and failed after 1 month. Do not buy!

When I received this one end it was crushed, the outer packaging had no damage. Should have shipped from the factory with this damage. It works fine, but I had to open the electrical box and straighten the frame before I even dared plug it in. As I said, the power supply works perfectly, but first I had to spend 20 minutes straightening the aluminum housing. I saw another review of the same product where it arrived with the same damage as mine. Hm. All supplies failed after a month with a…

Does what it should!

Updated May 10, 2019 They sent me a replacement which is more or less perfect so far. Everything is square and all connections are easily accessible. Eve updated his rating based on the new unit. I assume Amazon received a damaged shipment, which is what happens. To be honest, it's like the specs for the frame they got were very wrong, or it was assembled by slavish child labor because it's just terrible workmanship. It works, but I could barely get a screwdriver into the connectors to tighten…

Adjustable, good at half power, howls at higher power levels

Decent universal power supply for LED bulbs. I appreciate that it has a little trimmer potentiometer to adjust the output voltage to a good range. I use a power supply for two ALITOVE LED strips (B07PY2JB7J). Each draws 5A and 24V, but I run them at around 19.5V by unplugging the power supply. The fan turns on after about 20 minutes and cycles on and off as expected. My main reason for only giving 3 stars is that the power supply seems to have issues when I try to run the LED strips at full…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Low maintenance

I purchased this power supply for use in a custom LED lighting project and have been very happy with its performance. My only complaints are that the fan won't turn off when no power is applied (it's probably not connected to a temperature sensor) and the PSU, at only 360W (3/4 of the rated power), gets very hot at times. Upper limit). The fan noise didn't bother me and I added some cheap metal heatsinks to dissipate the heat. With this modification I have been using this PSU happily for six…
