Disappointing Acrylic Yarn for Crocheting

Based on my observations, this yarn is not easy to work with due to its stiffness and tendency to split. Although the color options are plentiful, the quality of the yarn itself leaves something to be desired.

This yarn is beautiful and just like the picture. I ordered it twice because I didn't have enough. The second batch is exactly the same.

Not as soft as expected. Sticks easily.

I ordered these to test out of angora yarn. I am crocheting a poncho. The size is about what I expected, quite thin. The yarn isn't as soft as anything I've read about angora. It's quite rough and scratchy and itchy on the skin. I haven't washed it yet so I hope it blooms and softens. It gets caught very easily and the individual fibers also come loose easily. Finding the right seam can be difficult. I often grab two strands instead of three, and when I later realize the mistake and try to…
